Alexis Fowler
Ms. Fowler is an attorney specializing in white-collar criminal defense and general criminal defense.
Ms. Fowler, born and raised in Dallas, Texas, earned her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University (TCU) before pursuing her juris doctorate at Southern Methodist University (SMU) Dedman School of Law. Graduating cum laude from SMU, she demonstrated not only academic excellence but also a dedication to public service, evidenced by her inclusion on the pro bono honor roll for completing over 200 pro bono hours as a legal advocate for CASA and Catholic Charities.
During her time at SMU, Ms. Fowler honed her legal skills as a Student Attorney in the Criminal Law Clinic, where she provided representation to indigent criminal defendants in Dallas County. Her outstanding performance led to her appointment as a Chief of the clinic, where she supervised and mentored fellow students while continuing to provide essential legal services to the community. Additionally, she served as Secretary for the Criminal Law Club, further showcasing her leadership and organizational abilities.
In 2019, Ms. Fowler began her professional career with Mr. Hagood and upon her graduation from law school in 2022, she joined his firm full-time, bringing her expertise in criminal defense and her unwavering dedication to client advocacy.
Driven by a passion for helping others, Ms. Fowler possesses exceptional communication and listening skills, which enable her to understand her clients' needs fully. Her proficiency in problem-solving, coupled with her meticulous attention to detail and around-the-clock commitment to her clients' cases, sets her apart as a trusted advocate in the legal field.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Fowler remains actively engaged in her community, volunteering her time to various organizations and causes, including serving as a mentor at the Irma Lerma Rangel Young Women's Leadership School.
